Kester 24-6040-0017 is a 1 lb spool of leaded solder wire that is .025 inches in diameter. It is comprised of SN60PB40 or, 60 percent tin and 40 percent lead. Additionally, is has a 58 core and a 44 (RA) flux type. Kester 44 Rosin Flux has virtually dominated the field of activated rosin core solders for well over four decades.
