The Desco 14405 is a vinyl disposable ESD wrist strap with adhesive. Â It will ground an operator in accordance with the ESDA ANSI/ESD S20.20. Â
It is ideal for visitors to use in an ESD protected area or for shipping along with ESDS items that are to be used by the receiving user.
The vinyl ribbon has a looped end that wraps around the operator's wrist to provide a consistent contact with the skin.Â
The non-marking, no residue adhesive can connect the strap to ground or for equipotential bonding. Â The adhesive creates a temporary connection to ground or bonds the operator to the ESDS item to ensure that both are at equal potential.
The strap measures 35.5 inches and allows the operator to move freely within the work area.
Each strap is individually packaged with operating instructions and custom packaging is available.
