Desco ESD 09231 Wrist Strap, Jewel, Adjustable Metal, White, 4 mm, 6 ft Cord, Clean Pack

Class 1000 Packaging for your clean room.  Each cord is double bagged which prevents contamination of contents before the product is transferred to the cleanroom.  Units are cleaned and packaged in a Class 1000 controlled environment to remove contamination from products for use in the clean environments.

WRISTBAND

The Desco 09231 adjustable premium metal expansion wristband provides a more reliable path-to-ground.  It can adjust from 5.75" to 13".

A nylon cap with a slotted opening allows the operator to adjust the size to their comfort level and a medical grade series stainless steel backplate and links eliminate allergic skin reaction s for most operators.

The durable solid stainless steel machined snap stud provides long life and a consistent 1-5 pound release per S1.1 requirements to prevent accidental disconnects while ensuring operators will not be tied to the workstation.

Date coding is provided so that the lifespan of the band may be tracked and to ensure quality control.

Each unit is cleaned and packaged in a Class 1000 controlled environment.

Each unit is UL listed.

COIL CORD

The Desco 09231 Jewel White 6' Coil Cord has 12 inches of coils.  The cord, together with a wristband, creates a path-to-ground for an operator of <3.5 x 10^7 ohms per the required limits of the ANSI/ESD S20.20.  The rapid retraction strength polyurethane coil cords provide high memory and less coil cord dragging on the work surface.

The patented spring supported contoured banana plug is designed to ensure a reliable path-to-ground connection by expanding the banana plug into the socket.

Over 1 million cycles of strain relief testing have been performed.  That is 62 times the minimum requirements per the ANSI/ESD S1.1 guidelines.  

The low profile snap design prevents cords from being disconnected and a one megohm series resistor protects the operator from accidental contact with equipment line voltage.

Date coding is provided so that the lifespan of the product may be tracked to ensure quality control.

The design meets UL requirements to ensure operator safety.
