Desco ESD 09212 Wrist Strap, Magsnap, Adjustable Metal, White, 10 ft Cord, Clean Pack

Class 1000 Packaging for your clean room.  Each cord is double bagged which prevents contamination of contents before the product is transferred to the cleanroom.  Units are cleaned and packaged in a Class 1000 controlled environment to remove contamination from products for use in the clean environments.

WRISTBAND

The Desco 09212 Jewel White MagSnap Adjustable Wristband, together with a coil cord, creates a path-to-ground for an operator of <3.5 x 10^7 ohms per the required limits of the ANSI/ESD S20.20.  The magnetic connection between the wristband and cord  is a superior connection to eliminate intermittent failures of traditional snaps.  It also maintains a 1-5 pound release to prevent accidental disconnects.

The patented band is designed to allow the operator to adjust the circumference size to their wrist (5.75" to 13").  

The medical grade series stainless steel backplate and links create a more reliable path-to-ground for the operator.

Date coding is provided so that the lifespan of the product may be tracked to ensure quality control.

The design meets UL requirements to ensure operator safety.

COIL CORD

The Desco 09212 Jewel MagSnap White 10' Coil Cord has 16 inches of coils.  The cord, together with a wristband, creates a path-to-ground for an operator of <3.5 x 10^7 ohms per the required limits of the ANSI/ESD S20.20.  The magnetic connection between the cord and wristband is a superior connection to eliminate intermittent failures of traditional snaps and extends the life of the wrist strap.  It also maintains a 1-5 pound release to prevent accidental disconnects.

The patented spring supported contoured banana plug is designed to prevent wear to the banana springs that could lead to accidental disconnects from banana jacks.

Over 1 million cycles of strain relief testing have been performed.  That is 62 times the minimum requirements per the ANSI/ESD S1.1 guidelines.  This eliminates intermittent failures that occur with less durable cords.

The low profile snap design prevents cords from being disconnected or getting in the way of an operator's work area.  The relaxed retraction coil cord has a soft pull that does not tug on the operator's arm.
