Desco 09204 ESD Jewel Metal Wrist Strap Onyx 6 ft

The Desco 09204 metal expansion wristband and coil cord set creates a path-to-ground for an operator with a resistance of <3.5 x 10^7 ohms per the required limits of the ANSI/ESD S20.20.  The magnetic connection between the band and the cord is a superior electrical connection to eliminate intermittent failures of traditional snaps

The wristband has a patented size adjustment design to allow the operator to adjust the band to the wrist.  The minimum and maximum circumference is 5.75" to 13".  The adjustable medical grade stainless steel backplate and links create the more reliable path-to-ground for the operator.

The six foot (12 inches of coils) coil cord goes through over 1 million cycles of strain relief testing; 62 times the minimum requirement per ESD S1.1; to eliminate intermittent failures that occur with less durable cords.  This also helps extend the life of the wristband.

There is a patented spring supported contoured banana plug that is designed to prevent wear to the banana springs which could lead to accidental disconnects from banana jacks.  The right angle banana design extends the cord life by reducing fatigue at the strain relief of the banana plug.

The low profile snap design prevents the cord from being disconnected or getting in the way of the operator's work area.

Date coding is provided so that the lifespan of the product may be tracked to ensure quality control.

Each unit meets UL requirements to ensure operator safety.
