The Techspray 1702-8FP is a Zero Charge Hand Lotion. This non-greasy, non-contaminating hand lotion is for ESD environments and comes in an 8 oz pump bottle.
Thie lotion improves contact between personnel and grounding devices such as wrist straps and heel straps. It does not contain silicone, lanolin, mineral oil, and other materials found in conventional hand lotions that can interfere with PCB manufacturing. The Techspray 1702-8FP includes a blend of moisturizers such as aloe vera, and vitamins (A and E) which penetrate rapidly, leaving skin soft and without a greasy film.
Techspray's ESD-safe products can help maintain work areas within the ANSI/ESDS20.20 standards set by the ESD Association (www.esda.com). In a static-free environment, the work area, tools, and personnel form a circuit. Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) occurs when the charges of two surfaces with a large electronic potential (difference) equalize instantaneously. The resulting discharge or spark can cause catastrophic or latent damage to electronic components. ESD programs maintain an equal potential by maintaining continuous contact with ground, avoiding ESD damage. Cleaners, lotions, and coatings are an integral part of an ESD control program.
Instructions: Apply a small amount of lotion to hands and wrists. Massage into skin. Use at start of day, after hands have been washed or anytime skin is dry.
