The Techspray 1672-15S is an Envi-Ro-Tech Freeze Spray. This spray is a rapidly evaporating liquid that super-chills isolated areas. It is a 100 percent HFC-134a diognostic freeze spray and is used in troubleshooting aid for intermittently faulting capacitors, resistors, semiconductors, and other defective components. It also increases visibility of cold solder joints, cracks in printed circuit boards, and oxidized junctions. This item comes in a 15 oz Aerosol can.
Instructions: Always be sure that sprayhead is aimed at surface to be chilled. Allow components to heat up to normal operating temperature or until intermittent fault occurs. Spray suspected component until chilled. Product will freeze small areas. Due to the colder temperatures and the more aggressive nature of the product, it is possible that prolonged spraying may cause blistering of some conformal coatings or deterioration of some plastics. Always test on a inconspicuous area before using.
