Kester 24-6040-0039 is a 1 lb spool of leaded wire solder that has a .040 inch diameter. It is comprised of SN60PB40, or 60 percent tin and 40 percent lead. Additionally, it has a #66 core and a 44 (RA) flux type.
Kester 44 Rosin Flux has virtually dominated the field of activated rosin core solders for well over four decades.
