The Desco 19493 is the complete ionization test kit. This portable kit is used for testing electrostatic fields and measuring surface voltage and polarity on objects up to /-19.99 KV at a distance of one (1) inch.
The stainless steel conductive plate for the static field meter is used to measure offset voltage and discharge times for verification of ionizers per the ANSI/ESD SP3.3 and ESD TR53.
The /-1000 volt charger is applied to the conductive plate to measure discharge times.
The durable dissipative housing design with membrane switches protects the meter from physical damage and minimizes wear.
Red ranging lights or the LED Range Finder help operators to place the meter at the correct distance from the object being measured while the HOLD button allows the measurements to be retained for easy reading.
Each unit is calibrated with accepted procedures and standards traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
