The stainless steel conductive plate for the static field meter is used to measure offset voltage and discharge times for verification of ionizers per the ANSI/ESD SP3.3 and ESD TR53.
The ?1000 volt charger is applied to the conductive plate to measure discharge times of air ionizers.
