Per ESD Hanbook TR20.20 worksurface 5.3.1.9.3 High Pressure Laminates:
These materials are rigid and are applied to a substrate, typically with adhesive systems. The majority of these materials follow the multi-layer description above. There are, however, some types that are basically homogeneous in construction.
Because the electrical properties of many high pressure laminates have some degree of humidity dependence, all high pressure laminate materials should be carefully tested for adequate performance at low humidity prior to selection and installation. Multi-layer Micastat® with conductive layer is not homogenous and is not humidity dependent.
