Desco 09203 ESD Jewel Elastic Wrist Strap Onyx 6 ft Cord

The Desco 09203 magnetic elastic expansion wristband and coil cord creates a superior connection to eliminate intermittent failures of traditional snaps and creates a path-to-ground for an operator with a resistance <3.5 x 10^7 ohms per the required limits of the ANSI/ESD S20.20.  The magnetic connection extends the lifespan of the wrist strap and maintains a 1-5 pound release to prevent accidental disconnects.

The knitted band material has conductive silver plated polypropylene and creates a better electrical connection with the operator especially for dry skin or in dry environments.

A floating cam lock allows for easy size adjustment and band material replacement.

The 12 foot (18 inches of coils) coil cord is put through over 1 million cycles of strain relief tests which is 62 times more than the minimum requirements from the ESD S1.1.  This eliminates intermittent failures that occur with less durable cords and extends the life of the wrist strap.

The patented spring supported contoured banana plug is designed to prevent wear to banana springs that could lead to accidental disconnects from banana jacks and the right angled banana design extends cord life by reducing fatigue at the strain relief of the banana plugs.

The low profile snap design prevents the cord from being disconnected or getting in the way of the operator's work area.

Date coding is provided so that the lifespan of the products may be tracked to ensure quality control.

Each unit meets UL requirements to ensure operator safety.
