The Desco 09197 metal expansion wristband, when used with a coil cord, creates a path-to-ground for an operator with a resistance of ,3.5 x 107ohms per the required limits of the ANSI/ESD S20.20 or ESD TR53.

The wristband's magnetic connection to the coil cord provides a superior electrical connection to eliminate intermittent failures of traditional snaps and extends the lifespan of the wrist strap.  

The Magsnap is more reliable and provides consistent retention and release performance.  It maintains a 1 - 5 pound release to prevent accidental disconnects and increased safety.

The patented size adjustment is designed to allow the operator to adjust the circumference size (5.75" to 13") to their wrist size and the bright color allows supervisors to see that the operator is wearing a wrist strap.

The backplate and links of this wristband are made with medical grade series stainless steel that creates a more reliable path-to-ground for the operator and is designed not to pinch or pull hair for a more comfortable wear.

The durable metal band is long wearing and easy to clean and makes superior contact with the skin for reliable removal of generated static charges.

The non-flaking or scratching laminated insulator on all external surfaces protects the operators from electrical hazards and provides many years of product life while the medical grade 300 series stainless steel used for all metal parts eliminates allergic skin reactions for most people.

Date coding is provided so that  the lifespan of the product may tracked and to ensure quality control.

This product meets UL requirements to ensure operator safety.
